Year in Review: Best Food Recipes of 2011

I honestly had no idea how much everyone would love the food posts when I launched the food category last December. I gave you ideas for weekend dinners and ideas for your wedding. You loved them and you hated them and you offered me cake pop making jobs, lol.

I am by no means a pro in the kitchen, but I do love to cook, bake, and share some of my favorite finds with you, so without further ado here’s your favorite food posts from the past year!

When we posted Crazy About Shot Glass Desserts! we had such an overwhelming response for more recipes we ended up posting another round of recipes the next week!

The shot glass dessert posts were not only your favorites of 2011, but they were ours too! 🙂

Oh, mini burgers… If I could eat you everyday I would!

One thing I loved about the Engagement Party Food post was the foods could be made for any party.

When I’m searching for great recipes I always keep in mind if you can make them anytime, not just for a special occasion.

We gave you a little taste of fall during summer with our tasty White Bean & Zucchini Soup recipe.

We were all about romance the day we blogged about 3 Romantic Dinner Ideas. You loved this post so much we ended up doing a follow-up with romantic dessert ideas a few weeks later.

Homemade chewy granola bars are a MUST in my book!

It might be call engagement chicken, but its one tasty recipe and if you haven’t made it yet… You need too!

I need to give special thanks to the wonderful Martha Stewart. Without her I sometimes would be lost for inspiration.

I loved putting together the Halloween Inspired Dessert Table and I’m so glad you loved the Bat & Cobweb Cookies recipe.

The pancake bar post was our most controversial post all year! I only wish the people who took the time to email me how much they hated it would have commented!

I never knew serving breakfast to guests would cause such a stir 😉

And finally, you agreed with me Crock Pot Chicken Soup with Pearl Barley is a great comfort food when you’re sick.

Happy cooking & baking! TGIF 🙂
