A New Way To Plan Your Wedding

Now days we are all on the go. We want our information convenient and in the palm of our hands. Technology has allowed us to use our phones to make life a little easier. Now planning your wedding is more convenient than ever. My Wedding Concierge is a new iPhone application that allows high-tech brides to plan on the go. Its free and the only iPhone app that focuses only on wedding vendors so brides can truly search for wedding vendors in their area.

You can also find My Wedding Concierge online and follow the Bridal Fascinations Blog. I love this application because it is so simple. With a touch of your finger you can plan your wedding. All of the details are covered, including bridesmaids, groomsmen, and a favorites list of all of your vendors. You can submit your real wedding, research wedding vendors, save them to your favorites, tweet about vendors, become fans of vendors, post vendors to their facebook wall, and participate in the swag lounge giveaways. It is definitely worth checking out, you’ll love it!

Real Montana Day After Session: Jackie & Jason

Its their love for Big Sky country, music, their dog Petey and the love for each other that inspired this shoot.  When Nicole from Green Door Photography emailed me with this day after session I instantly fell in love. Its simple, classic, and fun.

Day after sessions are great for couples who want to enjoy their wedding day and not worry about portraits until the next day. They are also good opportunity to let your hair down and have a more relaxed portrait session that fits your personality and style better.

Don’t you just want to jump on a plane and go to Bozeman, MT right now?

Inspired by Alexander McQueen

This week the fashion world lost an icon. Designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his apartment on Thursday morning. He was a huge influence on the fashion world and me. Today I’m inspired by Alexander McQueen and Valentines Day.

Real New Zealand Engagement: Danielle & Nathan

Someone must have told Jason with St. Clair Photography that I’m in love with film photography. What I really love about this shoot is that it was styled as the Quintessential New Zealand Summer Engagement.

This could be anywhere in the world and I really like this trend of a styled shoot with a concept. It gives it a more personal look.

DIY: Wedding Cake

I love baking. With Valentines Day just a few days away I thought it would be perfect to feature Do-It-Yourself wedding cakes.

In Denver, The Makery is redefining how some people will get their cakes. They want you to know that decorating cakes is fun. You can go into their shop for We Bake, You Make. You can have a party or you can decorate a cake for a party you are having. Whatever it might be they have the icing, decorations, and all of the supplies you need.

This idea is perfect for the bride who loves to bake, or has a certain vision for her wedding cake. They have a lot of options and if decorating your own cake isn’t your thing that is okay just check out their website for other options.

When I found Ticings I fell in love… and then I ordered some! They make icing cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and everything in between super simple. It’s edible icing that’s peel and stick. Not only are they kosher, but, they are also gluten-free.

All you have to do is apply the Ticings to fresh buttercream frosting then you just peel and press onto your cake. Its modern, its fun, and you are done in minutes. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Make sure you check out Ticings website for the patterns specials they have.
