Real Montana Wedding: Delaney and Seth (Part 2)

Here it is… Part 2 of Delaney and Seth’s wedding!

Delaney said she never saw herself as a big white dress bride. When the time came for Delaney and Seth to tie the knot she wanted a “non-wedding.” She wanted their friends and family to come together for a good time and a week of celebration.

They rented a house on Flathead Lake, Montana. Delaney and Seth had an intimate mid-week morning ceremony. When the weekend rolled around they had a BBQ reception. It was perfect for Delaney and Seth. They wanted casual, intimate, unique, and meaningful. And I think they nailed it!

Okay, I’ll be honest. I LOVE ring details and if I could I would get married all over again just to see what my photographer would come up with as the ring detail.

Huckleberry pie was a must have item on the menu for the BBQ reception.

Delaney and Seth had a photo booth set up for their friends and family to have a good time. Don’t you love the green fabric as the background?

If you haven’t already checked out the fabulous Green Door Photography, do it now! Nicole is so sweet and uber-talented.

Real Montana Engagement: Delaney and Seth (Part 1)

What I love about  the Rocky Mountains is the stunning backdrops. You can have any type of setting you desire. I am honored to share Delaney and Seth’s engagement session in Glacier National Park with you today.

Nicole with Green Door Photography hung out with Delaney, Seth, and their families for a “non-wedding” weekend. It was a week of celebration and love, I can’t wait to share it with you.

Aren’t they a stunning couple! Make sure you check back tomorrow for Delaney and Seth’s “non-wedding” Part 2. You can check out more of Green Door Photography’s work by visiting their website.

The Perfect Winter Wedding

When I first came across this stylized shoot by Anastasia Photography I instantly fell in love. You can see their passion for photography through their work. The concept came about when a friend bought an old lodge and remodeled it into a rustic, yet modern, venue for weddings.

Cedar View Estates is nestled in the mountains of Pemberton, British Columbia right outside of Whistler (where the Winter Olympics are being held). They needed photos of a wedding for their website so they pulled together a dream team of vendors to illustrate the perfect winter wedding.

They wanted to think out of the box with their concept so they incorporated a chandelier, tea cups, and a cake stand.

Inspired By Vera Wang

I love Vera Wang. I love how she takes risks and inspires trends in the fashion world. I would love to see a bride wear a black gown. There is just something rich and classy about black and white.

It is always trendy and you can add a splash of color to this palette. Today I’m inspired by Vera Wang and black and white.

Real Colorado Engagement Session: Andrea & Jared

Andrea and Jared’s Denver engagement session comes from Ardent Photography. Stephanie said  she loved this session because it was unique. Her biggest challenge when shooting in Lower Downtown is to find new and creative ways to get a feel of an area without recreating the same look for every client. I think they did a fantastic job and can’t wait to see what Ardent comes up with for Andrea and Jared’s wedding.

Aren’t Andrea and Jared so cute! I really like how they had their dog come along to be part of their session. You can just see the love between all of them.
