You open your closet and wonder. You wonder what you should wear to your bridal shower. You wonder if you will be overdressed or under dressed. When it comes to bridal showers, honestly, I think anything goes. You should wear what your comfortable in and you will never be overdressed… the day is about you right!

Definitely figure out what kind of crowd and shower you will having so you can work on your look. If you are having a BBQ, you should wear something more casual. If its a wine and cheese shower, think along the lines of a skirt or dress. Oh, and lets not forget about the surprise showers… I say always go trendy that way you’ll be dressed perfect and people wont know that you knew about the surprise. But, if you are a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl make sure your guests know the style of your shower so they wont be under dressed and that way you can wear what you want. I’ve seen women wear skirts, dresses, jeans, and khakis and they all looked great at their showers and they were comfortable.

Recently I’ve found myself searching for the perfect handmade jewelry pieces. I’ve been looking for unconventional pieces, or, one of a kind pieces. I was thrilled when I found handmade paper garland necklaces on Oh So Beautiful Paper. These pieces are beautiful, delicate, and simple… I absolutely love them!

How could you not fall in love with these? Strung by a leather cord and accented by hand-painted wooden beads Lauren Manoogian pieces are available by Creatures of Comfort.

Here is another handmade gem I found on Etsy from YooLa. These pieces are perfect for bridesmaid gifts or everyday wear. She uses a rare technique of crochet with silver, gold, and copper. Her pieces are delicate and beautiful… a MUST see!
