Fun Ways To Make Your Wedding Memorable

If you have spent a long time dreaming of a perfectly stylish wedding then chances are you want your big day to be as memorable for your guests as it is for you. Here are five suggestions to create an impact on your wedding.

Have Fun With Your Drink Selection

While bottles of wine on every table is generous, it might not be the best use of your drinks budget. Not everyone likes wine, and the same can be said for prosecco or costly champagne. Why not mix it up by offering your guests some fun alternatives? There are some really fun ways to make your drink selection stand out from the usual wedding tipples, such as margarita machine rentals. They are fun and bring a nostalgic ‘day at the beach’ vibe to your wedding.

Travel In Style

If your wedding ceremony and reception are in separate locations, then consider hiring out transport for your guests. Many vintage buses can be hired to allow your guests to travel in a way that they won’t forget in a hurry. Arranging transport allows the party to continue between locations as well. Consider if you want to play music during the ride or hand out drinks to the guests. If the guests are not in their vehicles then they can continue to socialize and enjoy themselves during the journey.

Personalize the Ceremony

Personalizing the ceremony might seem obvious but it is amazing how quickly this can be forgotten or overlooked. If you are having a religious ceremony then there may be some practices you need to observe, but there is no harm in asking to see if there are other ways you could personalize the service. For instance, if hymns are not your favorite songs, then ask if the congregation could sing along to a song that is special to you. Ask if your readings could be more personal as well. Don’t feel you need to follow every tradition, if it doesn’t suit you ask what you can do to adapt the service to suit you.

It Doesn’t Need To Be A Band

Not everyone loves a boogie. Some people find the idea of dancing in front of others excruciating. If this is you, then the idea of a first dance may be off-putting. But just because it has been done before does not mean you have to follow the same suit. You don’t even need to have a band. If you would prefer, then why not choose another type of entertainment completely? You could hire a stand-up comic to come and do a set or a magician? Or hire a projector and screen a favorite movie? The change could be refreshing for many guests. IF you still felt you needed some kind of dance, then create a playlist on your phone and hire an audio system.

Make Your Photos The Favours

Finally, if you want to create a lasting impression, then make full use of the photographer you have hired. Choose images of your guests, print them off and send them out instead of favors. The picture will ensure your wedding stays in the mind of the guests every time they see the image.
