Guest Post: Beauty Treatments Timeline

Congratulations on getting married! I hope you had a wonderful proposal. Still, what’s coming before the wedding day is by no means simple and relaxing. Therefore, why not avoid any additional stress and worrying by knowing exactly when to devote your time to beauty care? It is important to plan your preparations in advance so that you can tend to any possible irritations and problems without having them cloud your big day.

Things you can start doing immediately

Exercise

Trust me, do not try to find the dress first and only then start with toning up your body so that you can fit in it. Start working on your fitness skills and shaping up as soon as possible. Not only will you be healthier and more energized but you will also feel more confident with choosing a wedding gown when you are finally satisfied with how your body looks.

Balanced diet

If you think that this is the perfect opportunity to lose weight, go for it. Still, do not starve yourself because hunger will only make you moody and make the tasks before the wedding even more difficult and aggravating. Create a plan for a balanced diet that would provide you with necessary nutrients as well as solve any bowel issues. I cannot even begin to explain how irritating bloating can be when you are in the midst of wedding preparations.

Treat your skin

Before anything else, try to improve the appearance of your skin yourself. Regular exercise and proper diet will already do wonders for your skin but find the time for your own beauty routine as well. I was very lazy when it came to cleaning my face regularly and applying moisturizers but the moment I saw how much good exercise and nice food do me, I wanted to push this even further. Find appropriate skin care for your skin type and say goodbye to any skin mishaps and embrace your radiant look as soon as possible.

2-3 months before the wedding

Hair and makeup

Start experimenting with your hair and makeup a couple of months before the wedding so that you can see what kind of look suits you the best and what kind of makeup will look and wear perfectly on your skin type. You can follow some YouTube tutorials yourself or spend time searching for pictures online and in magazines. If you are not confident in your own skills ask a friend to do your hair and makeup for you. Just remember to book an appointment at a salon in time. If you are sure what you want, your time in a salon will be shorter as well.

3 weeks – 1 month before the wedding

Facial treatments

If you want to boost your skin’s appearance even more with some professional beauty treatment do not wait for it to be just before the wedding. After microdermabrasion, the redness on my face took a week to disappear but it still left my skin smooth and glowy for months after the treatment. If you opt to go to a facial rejuvenation clinic in Sydney then make sure you are putting yourself in professional hands and people who know very well how to deal with your particular needs and wishes.

2 weeks before the wedding

Legs and nails

My legs are very sensitive and waxing had to be done a couple of weeks before the big day. Even if your skin is not prone to irritations, it is best to remove unwanted hairs in time so that you can treat your skin properly after the process. Moreover, do your nails 2 weeks before the wedding because you will hardly find the time to think about this detail later on and you will also provide enough time for the healing period of your cuticles.

It is definitely not impossible to have fun while preparing for the wedding day. You just have to organize yourself well and under no circumstances try to rush things. Take your time and welcome the most important day in your life with confidence.
