7 Unique Wedding Favours Your Guests Will Love

Wedding favours have been something of a tradition for quite some time now, but does anyone really get creative with them anymore? The usual favour fare is maybe a party popper and some sweets. You can make your big day memorable for your guests too, and quite inexpensively too.

Try these unique favour ideas on for size, and see what you think:

Flip-Flops

These make for a perfect favour for the evening, and your female guests are sure to appreciate them. Your ladies will be able to kick off painful heels, and slip into something more comfortable for mingling after the dinner. Before including these, consider that sizing could possibly be an issue and take the weather into account also.

Disposable cameras

As much a staple as the party popper, these ensure that your guests can be wedding photographers too. We all know that some of the best shots are the ones that we never knew were being taken.

Succulent plants

Is there anything sweeter than a tiny succulent plant a wedding favour? These little guys come in the tiniest little pots. On taking them home, your guests will be able to display them at home or on their desks at work. One of the good things about these is they that they take up hardly any space at all. The health benefits of of being around green plant life can’t be understated either.

Preserves

Undersized pots of honey or jam make for excellent sweet treats to say thank you to your guests. This kind of treat, of course, has a long shelf life and is unique reminder of a very special day.

Donations

A little unusual, but in pace of a favour you could place a small card at each table. The card would go on to explain that instead of favours, you decided to donate the money saved to a charity. Heartwarming gestures have a way of being repeated, so it may be a good idea to explain why you chose that charity and provide details of how your guests can donate if they want to.

A lottery ticket

Almost the polar opposite of the donation favour, a lottery ticket is sure to delight – even if it doesn’t win. As the tickets themselves are not exactly appealing, you could pop them inside decorative envelopes.

A tasteful souvenir

If many of your guest have travelled some distance to join you, because perhaps you decided to wed in warmer climes, then a souvenir would make a lovely reminder of their time away. This can also help to ensure they don’t have to spend their own money on one at the airport.
