After a quick stop at the craft store this weekend I ended up doing a little research and came across Self.com’s DIY Beauty Gifts. I was so excited to see them this morning on the Today show that I had to share one of the gifts I’m giving this year.
Pom lip gloss {according to Self.com} crimson tint will last longer than some store-bought stains. Its the perfect gift to give along with some of our DIY: At-Home Spa Day! ideas. Its easy to make and your girlfriends will love it.
Pom Lip Gloss
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup petroleum jelly
- 1 scoop or 2 packets Natural Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Light
- 3 or 4 small jars or tins with lids
Mix petroleum jelly and Crystal Light in a bowl, adding 1 tsp water a few drops at a time, until gloss turns berry red. Use a spatula to smooth the formula into jars.
