DIY: Edible Centerpieces

Last time we talked about Potted Centerpieces as a great inexpensive alternative for your wedding. Today we’re taking it one step further with Edible Centerpieces!

They are another great DIY project and a great alternative to save a few dollars, plus your guests can take them home. You can add them to the flowers you already have or use them as the main centerpiece. Whatever you decide you can make it the perfect fit for your wedding.

Some things to keep in mind when choosing your fruit, vegetables, or herbs is finding out what’s in season. You want your edibles to look and smell fresh.

Make sure you wash the fruit or vegetables just enough to get the dirt off, don’t wash off the wax because it will give you more sheen if your putting your edibles in water.

You can mix and match your edibles. If you do it right your centerpieces can look stunning at any budget wedding.

All you will need is different vases or bowels and a variety of sizes.

Whether you are going simple or adding a splash of color make sure you think outside the box and make your centerpieces stand out.

Happy Planning!
