Planning your wedding in current times can be challenging and discouraging when not knowing where we will be one month to another. So if you find yourself having to reorganize your special day or are newly engaged, we have some of the top destination weddings to get you excited about planning your big day.

First, you will need to decide what type of destination you and your partner want. Are you drawn to the beach, city, countryside or maybe the mountains? Do you want it to be sunny or snowy? Will you be spending your honeymoon and wedding at the same destination? Do they offer the cuisine you like? And most importantly, where will your budget take you?

If you are still undecided about where you should go, then keep reading on for our recommendation.

North America

New york – Imagine it winter there is snow falling all around and you are on a horse carriage traveling through manhattan to the iconic Central Park where your wedding party awaits. Central Park is vast, so there are many places within which you can choose to get married.

Hawaii – If more of a beach wedding is what you are looking for, then Hawaii is by far the best location in North America to get married. Picture walking hand in hand along the beach while the sun sets and you are surrounded by loved ones. We can’t think of anything more romantic.

South America

Patagonia – If you picture yourself getting married in a more dynamic scenery, then Patagonia is just the place. Get married in front of a waterfall and have your wedding photos taken in a cave, we think this would be perfect for a couple who like a little adventure.

Argentina – For a unique wedding, why not get married in the vineyards of Argentina. You will have an ample supply of top-notch wines with a scenic mountain background.

Europe

Italy – Full of romantic hotspots I can be hard to choose where in Italy to have your wedding. Venice has to be top of our list, in the town of Verona to be specific. It’s the home to the iconic love story of Romeo and Juliet, what setting could be more romantic than that.

Greece – There are many Greek islands to choose from, however, we think Santorini is one of the most romantic. With clear blue seas and fantastic food, your guests will have wedding envy.

Australia

If you want to elope to a faraway land, we think Australia could be the place to go. Imagine getting married with the Sydney Opera house in the background or looking out to the great barrier reef in Queensland. We think both of these destinations would give your wedding the wow factor.

We hope we have helped you in deciding where to hold your destination wedding. Now the location is sorted, check out our Top 5 Tips for Throwing a Great Wedding Reception.
