Theme your food

One option could be to theme your food. Is there a certain type of cuisine that you love? Or is there an area of the world that’s special to you and your partner? Then perhaps you could serve food that links to that area. Whether you are big fans of Mexican cuisine, are crazy about Parisian food, or love Spanish tapas, perhaps you could consider serving it at your wedding? The fact is that theming your food, from your starter to the coffees and desserts could work well; it’s just a case of choosing a theme, that’s all.

Have a hog roast

Are you big meat eaters? If so, having a hog roast could be the answer to taking a unique approach to your wedding day catering. Not fans of pork? How about a ram roast instead? Just think, you could serve it with a range of options, from roasted potatoes, vegetables, and gravy, to baps, sauces, and stuffing. It’s not a traditional meal, but it could be a great one to opt to serve. Admittedly, a less formal meal to choose, but if it is something that you enjoy eating, and know that your guests will love, it could be perfect.

Serve pizza to order

Everyone loves pizza, which is what makes serving pizzas to order such a great idea for your wedding day. Whether you ask your guests to order their pizzas in advance or have a pizza truck on-site making them while your guests wait, it doesn’t matter. Pizza could make a fun and unique wedding breakfast option, as it’s so different and wonderfully unique. Feeling brave? How about having a ‘make your own pizza’ station where your guests can make their own pizzas before handing them over to your caterers to bake? You can’t beat the taste of freshly cooked, hand-stretched pizza, can you? It might not be a formal meal, but it sure would be a nasty one.

There you have it, a guide to a selection of unique wedding breakfast ideas that are perfect for anyone who would rather plan a less traditional wedding breakfast and one that is a little more exciting and unique.
