When you get engaged, you can start to think about what you would like at your wedding. First things first, you need to decide on a date for your big day. Sit down with your partner and discuss how many of each, and who you are going to have. If you have a lot of close family and friends, a larger number might be possible. Try and make the number of ushers and bridesmaids the same; otherwise it will look strange in the pictures. The sooner you sort out who’s going to be part of the wedding party, the easier it will be to tell people. And make sure you decide on a best man and maid of honour, so you can inform them of their duties. Try and not let any pressure or opinions make your mind up; it’s your big day after all!
Transportation

Venue

Ensure that you have an idea of how many guests you would like to come as this will affect you choosing a smaller or a larger venue. Also, you should check if there will be rooms available for your guests to stay. If you are having the ceremony at a separate place, you should definitely find that first before looking for a venue.
