Baked Kale Chips

As a HUGE Kale lover I’m not really sure why it took me so long to try baked Kale chips. They now have become my own little healthy obsession! This snack is great for everyone, including vegans, vegetarians and kids. Its quick and easy and loaded with vitamins A, C and K.

Baked Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 1-2 bunches of Kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Optional ingredients- Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper or blackening spice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Rinse and dry the kale, then remove the stems and tough center ribs. Cut into large pieces, toss with olive oil in a bowl then sprinkle with salt (or lemon pepper or blackening spice).
  2. Arrange leaves in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crisp (if adding Parmesan cheese sprinkle cheese on chips during the last 5-6 last minutes of baking). Place baking sheet on a rack to cool and enjoy!
