Robert and Shantell are from Texas. Robert came to Colorado a few years ago for a wedding and fell in love with the state. When Robert and Shantell got engaged she said she knew that she wanted to have a traditional Catholic wedding since Robert was Catholic.
She searched Google for Catholic churches and fell in love with St. Catherine of Siena Chapel on the Rock at St. Malo’s. They booked the church without even stepping foot in it.

Robert and Shantell are from the south, so they provided guests with small bottles of Southern Comfort, coffee, and candy.
Robert and Shantell had 3 separate cakes at their wedding. The groom’s cake was a Notre Dame ice cream football helmet cake. They also had this teapot shaped cake to celebrate the mother of the bride’s birthday.
