Your wedding is arguably one of the most important days of your life. There are so many different trends out there now, from mason jars, doughnut walls. However, it is the unique details that make your wedding stand out and leave a lasting impression. Between venue tours, cake tastings, it is easy to forget about the little things when wedding planning but do not stress, here is a detailed list of some unique wedding ideas that are set to wow your guests and yourself!

Flower Girls

Flower girls are a traditional and adorable addition to any wedding; even if kids are not your thing, it is hard to deny the cuteness that comes with a tot dolled up in tulle with beautiful flower girl dresses. Typically, the flower girl’s youngest person in the wedding party precedes the bride down the aisle. The tradition dates back to ancient Rome, where the flower girl carried wheat and herbs for the bride and groom. However, how can we change it up? Who says the flower girl needs to be a child now? It could be a pet, an adult woman, or a man! The opportunities are endless, and the videos of flower guys are amazing and worth a watch.

Take Song Requests

Ask invitees to jot down their favorite song on the RSVP card to have them email it to you instead. Then, compile all the song requests into a playlist and give it to your DJ so they can make sure there are jams that all guests will enjoy.

Have a Guest Book

The trick with a guest book is to make it enticing enough to get everyone to sign it. Show off your creativity and make it a fun interactive activity; use a polaroid camera, so there are instant memories made. Your guests can take a selfie and then pop it into the book and sign next to it. They could also write a few marriage tips.

Have a Game Plan for the Kids

Even if you love children, disruptions during the ceremony and reception are not an idea and cannot be helped. So, it is good to have a backup plan to have little ones attended to and on their best behavior. At the ceremony, have an usher hand out coloring books and crayons. Make sure they are sat with their parents at mealtime, so they are well behaved and maybe get a bouncy castle. Weddings can’t just be fun for the adults; the kids are also there, so a bouncy castle is ideal for a fun time.

Something for the Morning After

Create some fun but practical hangover kits to give away to guests as they leave.  This could be tea, coffee, paracetamol, and some pick-me-up oil to help get through the morning after. Thoughtful and practical. As well as so, something for the morning later, have special boxes for the men’s and women’s toilets, with sanitary towels and deodorants and medicine, to keep everyone happy.

Little surprises throughout the day can make a wedding magical for the guests; think about yourself and your relationship, and all ideas will appear.
