No one wants to walk down the aisle with a bad case of acne or irritated skin that makes it look like your face is a tomato. Of course, you want everything to be perfect on your big day. This is hopefully the only time you walk down the aisle, so everything should be right on point. And that includes your face! Make sure that you get in the right nutrition if you want a glowing face that looks absolutely stunning as you make your way down the aisle. Keep reading down below to learn about some of the top foods you should add into your diet before the big day to get glowing skin.

  • Salmon

Salmon is one of those foods that we know that we should eat more of, but it can be tough to add it into your diet. Well, if you want great skin for your wedding day, then you had better start eating more of this nutritious fish! Salmon and other fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which provide your body with tons of positive benefits. These include keeping your skin firm, strengthening your nails, providing your skin with a nice and natural glow, and even can give your hair a bit more of a healthy shine.

  • Turmeric

You’ve probably heard that turmeric is a miracle spice that you should add to pretty much every meal. And there’s plenty of evidence to back that up! If you want glowing skin before your wedding day, then this is the spice for you. Turmeric is going to help repair any damaged skin that you have from acne or the sun.

  • Beetroot

Next up, we have beetroot, which may be an ingredient that you don’t find yourself cooking much with. However, beetroot is absolutely packed full of Vitamin A, potassium, calcium, and Vitamin E. That means that it’s the perfect ingredient to help repair the damaged skin cells on your face. That happens by promoting the growth of new skin cells on your face that will replace that old, dead skin that you can get off with an exfoliator. Make sure you get a high-quality knife that will cut it fine when you need to chop up these beetroots.

  • Legumes

Legumes are super high in fiber, so they’re overall really great for your health. This includes anything from black beans to kidney beans to many other types of beans. They are absolutely great for detoxifying your skin and making it glow like never before!

  • Broccoli

When your parents told you to eat your broccoli, they weren’t kidding! You’ve got to get in that daily dosage of broccoli and other leafy greens if you want to be super healthy and have beautiful skin for your wedding day. That’s because broccoli is full of antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids that are going to make your skin glow. In addition to that, broccoli also comes packed with calcium and folate. It’s basically the miracle vegetable!

  • Garlic

Garlic is a super easy ingredient to throw into most recipe that you cook for lunch or dinner. It’s going to help reduce any skin irritations that you might be experiencing and will fight off any skin infections that may creep up before the big day.

  • Pineapple

And lastly, we have a fruit that you may absolutely love to eat on a nice summer day. And that’s good news because pineapple is also fantastic for your skin before your wedding! Pineapple is rich in bromelain, which means that it’s going to reduce inflammation in your skin and help to get rid of any toxins that may be clogging it. On top of that, eating more pineapple is directly linked with the promotion of new skin generation on your face. This means that your old skin is going to be lifted off with your exfoliator and new, healthy skin will be there, thanks to pineapple.

Make sure to get some of each of these foods into your diet before you big day. This will ensure that everything is absolutely perfect, including your beautiful face!
