Kelly and Ryan absolutely adore the water, so it was a given that the couple celebrate their love in Kelly’s tropical hometown of Palm Cove. “From a proposal on a tropical island under the white cabana, surrounded by candles for a private beach dinner, to the planning of my dream wedding, I knew I was going to be marrying the most amazing guy in the world,” gushes Kelly.
Though Kelly planned the entire day down to the smallest detail – this still couldn’t stop dark storm clouds from rolling in, the night before the celebration. A blessing in disguise, this temperamental weather made for some glorious photos and shots.
Kelly and her 67 guests were treated to a gorgeous celebration at The Reef House and a little surprise from Ryan. “My husband – who had broken his leg three months prior in a jet ski accident – surprised me by singing me a song because he couldn’t dance with me,” explains Kelly. “It was so romantic.”
Kelly’s favorite moment of the day? “Having my little brother sing as I walked down the aisle was a highlight for me,” says Kelly of Connor Reid, an aspiring musician.
