Overnight Cherry Oats

Lately I’ve been on a search for healthy breakfast on-the-go. I was excited to come across this overnight cherry oats recipe from Whole Foods and wanted to share! It is so easy to prepare and its ready to go in the morning. You can definitely add different ingredients such as frozen berries, cinnamon, honey, chia seeds, etc. You can play around with this recipe and either way it’s going to turn out delicious.

If you use frozen fruit you don’t have to thaw first although I did thaw the fruit first so there wasn’t a lot of excess liquid in the jars. Also make sure you leave plenty of room at the top of the mason jars because the oats will swell. Keep in mind if you don’t like almondmilk you can use a different non-dairy alternative such as coconut milk or hemp milk. I have seen a recipe that uses whole milk and made this recipe into a dessert rather than a breakfast on-th-go. Either way have fun with this recipe and experiment on your own!
