From the bride: They say rain on your wedding day is supposed to bring good luck…we were certainly assured of this many times on our wedding day as the skies let loose with a downpour. We dreamed of having an outdoor garden ceremony and the Botanical Gardens in my hometown was the idyllic location.
Although we knew the weather could be temperamental on Memorial Day weekend, we fully planned for the best. I am glad now we didn’t have a Plan B for bad weather, because just about 30 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin the downpour stopped, the sun shone, and I married the love of my life in the gorgeous garden in which we envisioned becoming husband and wife.
