Book Review: Winter Cocktails

I have a treat for you today! The perfect addition to your cookbook library has just become available, Winter Cocktails: Mulled Ciders, Hot Toddies, Punches, Pitchers, and Cocktail Party Snacks from Quirk Books!

As you know I love a great cocktail and with the Holidays right around the corner this is such a great book for anyone to add fun drinks or party snacks to their party. From fresh takes on classic warm drinks to flavorful variations on traditional cocktails you will find the perfect drink to serve with or without alcohol.

When I got Winter Cocktails in the mail I had to try out a recipe and since its starting to get a little chiller at nights I thought the perfect drink would be Winter White Hot Chocolate. Made with white chocolate and a splash of lemon juice this warm drink reminded me of pudding in a glass! Of course I had to add a little whip cream on top because hot chocolate is just better that way and I went to Heaven! Next time I will definitely being adding Peppermint Schnapps (which is a suggestion in the book) to it!

Winter Cocktails homemade recipe for doughnuts is on the list of things to make this weekend and I can’t wait to make their homemade party mix for our annual Holiday party.

If you’ve ever wondered how to make those delicious Old-Fashioned’s, Manhattans or even Roasted Marrow Bones or Grilled Blue Cheese and Watercress Sandwiches then this book needs to be in your library. Its also the perfect gift for your loved ones who love to throw a great party. Winter Cocktails: Mulled Ciders, Hot Toddies, Punches, Pitchers, and Cocktail Party Snacks is now available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble or your local bookstore!

Happy Drinking & TGIF! 🙂
