After meeting through a mutual friend Sara and Chris decided on a simple laid back wedding in Telluride Colorado.
Instead of having a bridal party Sara and Chris decided they wanted to have their families stand beside them.
Sara wanted the flowers to be simple and not take over the beautiful backdrop of Telluride Mountain.
In the end the fall aspen leaves became a huge part of the wedding. It compliments the simplicity of the day.
Sara lost her dad lost to cancer in 2006, so as part of the pre-wedding festivities they raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.
