Real Engagement: Annie & Ryan

TGIF! I love Friday’s simply because you get to spend the weekend with the one you love. Today’s engagement session was submitted by Sarah Danaher of Ampersand Photography. Honestly, I fell in love with this couple as soon as I read what Sarah had to say about them. This is the kind of love that’s inspiring.

From Sarah: Ryan and Annie first met at Annie’s sister’s wedding— Annie was a bridesmaid, Ryan was the best man. They hit it off immediately… but distance was a bit of a problem. Annie was in grad school in Washington, and Ryan was in the Air Force in Colorado. So they e-mailed, and called, and became rather well-aquainted with airports. And then Ryan was stationed overseas for a time, and they learned the value of video Skype.

When Ryan moved back to the States and was stationed in North Carolina, Annie switched grad schools to be closer— they live just over an hour from each other now, which seems close, compared to the distance they’ve traveled. They’re a sweet, steady couple that love each other with that depth that only comes from loving through difficulties (distance, in their case). They’re wedding is in May, and will be perfect, I’m sure!

Happy Weekend! 🙂
